Current status: Valid as Labracinus lineatus (Castelnau 1875). Pseudochromidae: Pseudochrominae. Distribution: Eastern Indian Ocean: Houtman Abrolhos north to Kimberleys, Western Australia (Australia). IUCN (2022): Least Concern. Habitat: marine.
