Originally as quindecim-fasciata. •Synonym of Kelloggella oligolepis (Jenkins 1903) -- (Hoese 1975:479 [ref. 5294]). •Valid as Kelloggella quindecimfasciata (Fowler 1946) -- (Yoshino in Masuda et al. 1984:268 [ref. 6441], Myers 1999:257 [ref. 23965], Nakabo 2000:1205 [ref. 25182], Larson & Murdy 2001:3598 [ref. 26293] with genus as Kellogella, Nakabo 2002:1205 [ref. 26193], Greenfield & Randall 2004:529 [ref. 28175], Randall 2005:540 [ref. 28239], Randall 2009:185 [ref. 30557], Tornabene et al. 2017:1 [ref. 35703], Akaike et al. 2021:28 [ref. 38809], Parenti 2021:190 [ref. 38603], Larson 2022:112 [ref. 39971]). Current status: Valid as Kelloggella quindecimfasciata (Fowler 1946). Gobiidae: Gobiinae. Distribution: Indo-West Pacific: Seychelles and Chagos Archipelago (British Indian Ocean Territory); Indonesia east to Marshjall Islands and Cook Islands, north to southern Japan. Habitat: marine.
