Part 2; ref. 14621] Coward Spring, in a small pool of water around an artesian well, central Australia. Lectotype: SAMA F525. Paralectotypes: SAMA F7674 (5, 2 c&s). Type catalog: Glover 1976:174 [ref. 19449]. Lectotype selected by Larson 1995:22 [ref. 22270]. •Valid as Chlamydogobius eremius (Zietz 1896) -- (Larson 2001:63 [ref. 25522], Unmack 2001:1064 [ref. 25797], Allen et al. 2002:260 [ref. 25930], Hammer & Walker 2004:89 [ref. 28129], Hoese & Larson 2006:1635 [ref. 29097], Hammer et al. 2012:65 [ref. 32389]). Current status: Valid as Chlamydogobius eremius (Zietz 1896). Gobiidae: Gobionellinae. Distribution: South Australia, Australia. Habitat: freshwater.
