P.] in Smith 1932:256, Pl. 23 (top) [Journal of the Siam Society, Natural History Supplement v. 8 (no. 4); ref. 4050] Estuary of Chantabun River at Lem Sing, southeastern Thailand. Holotype: KUMF 180. Paratypes: (7) BMNH 1920.3.8.72 (1), KUMF, RMNH 12452 (1). •Synonym of Waitea mystacina (Valenciennes 1837) -- (Maugé 1986:386 [ref. 6218]). •Synonym of Mahidolia mystacina (Valenciennes 1837) -- (Yanagisawa 1978:310 [ref. 7028], Hoese & Larson 2006:1664 [ref. 29097], Kottelat 2013:412 [ref. 32989], Allen & Erdmann 2019:86 [ref. 36640]). Current status: Synonym of Mahidolia mystacina (Valenciennes 1837). Gobiidae: Gobiinae. Habitat: brackish, marine.
