Type catalog: Böhlke 1953:83 [ref. 12291]. •Valid as Plectroglyphidodon sindonis (Jordan & Evermann 1903) -- (Allen 1991:248 [ref. 19344], Mundy 2005:430 [ref. 28379], Randall 2007:312 [ref. 30952], Parenti 2021:72 [ref. 38418]). Current status: Valid as Plectroglyphidodon sindonis (Jordan & Evermann 1903). Pomacentridae: Microspathodontinae. Distribution: Central Pacific: Hawaiian Islands (U.S.A.). Habitat: marine.
