Holotype (unique): NRM 10283. •Valid as Squamicreedia obtusa Rendahl 1921 -- (Allen & Swainston 1988:108 [ref. 25477] as obtusata, Allen 1997:174 [ref. 23977], Larson & Williams 1997:366 [ref. 23967], Hutchins 2001:40 [ref. 25847], Nelson 2001:3516 [ref. 26284], Hoese & Bray 2006:1504 [ref. 29000], Larson et al. 2013:175 [ref. 32988]). Current status: Valid as Squamicreedia obtusa Rendahl 1921. Hemerocoetidae. Distribution: Northwestern Australia. Habitat: marine.
