Type catalog: Hardy 1990:11 [ref. 18942]. Current status: Valid as Coris sandeyeri (Hector 1884). Labridae. Distribution: Southwestern Pacific: eastern Australia to New Zealand and Kermadec Islands. Habitat: marine.
