Holotype: QVM 1971:5:0030 [ex H.T.941a, ex QVM type 78]. Paratypes: (5) AMS IA.6440 (1), BMNH 1935.10.19.1 (1), QVM 1971:5:31 [ex P.T.941b, ex QVM type 79] (1), QVM P.T. sl. 941c-g (type material on slides, missing in 1974); NMV A412 (1). Type catalog: Koumans 1940:166 [ref. 2676], Green 1974:5 [ref. 19267]. •Valid as Tasmanogobius lordi Scott 1935 -- (Hoese 1991:370 [ref. 21448], Larson & Hoese in McDowall 1996:225 [ref. 22909], Allen et al. 2002:285 [ref. 25930], Hoese & Larson 2006:1687 [ref. 29097], Larson 2011:237 [ref. 31740]). Current status: Valid as Tasmanogobius lordi Scott 1935. Gobiidae: Gobionellinae. Distribution: Southern Australia. Habitat: freshwater, brackish, marine.
