Holotype: BMNH 1961.10.18.11. Paratypes: BMNH 1961.10.18.12-14 (3); ZFMK 732 (1). Type catalog: Busse 1984:221 [ref. 28342], Herder et al. 2010:131 [ref. 31087]. •Valid as Konia eisentrauti (Trewavas 1962) -- (Teugels 1991:206 [ref. 20955], Stiassny et al. 2007:399 [ref. 30045]). Current status: Valid as Konia eisentrauti (Trewavas 1962). Cichlidae: Pseudocrenilabrinae. Distribution: West-central Africa: Lake Barombi-Mbo, Cameroon. Habitat: freshwater.
