Paratypes: BPBM 5522-25 (1, 2, 17, 11), 10862 (1), 10864-65 (26, 5), 22624 (4); USNM 206175 (21), 202527 (1). •Valid as Psilogobius mainlandi Baldwin 1972 -- (Watson & Lachner 1985:645 [ref. 8129], Larson & Murdy 2001:3599 [ref. 26293], Greenfield & Randall 2004:543 [ref. 28175], Mundy 2005:480 [ref. 28379], Randall et al. 2005:130 [ref. 28745], Randall 2007:403 [ref. 30952], Parenti 2021:221 [ref. 38603]). Current status: Valid as Psilogobius mainlandi Baldwin 1972. Gobiidae: Gobiinae. Distribution: Western and Central Pacific: Marshall Islands, Hawaiian Islands (U.S.A.). Habitat: marine.
