Distribution: Red Sea, Indo-West Pacific: East Africa, Amirantes and Chagos Archipelago east to Marshall Islands, Rotuma and Tonga, north to Ryukyu Islands, south to Western Australia, Queensland (Australia) and New Caledonia. Habitat: marine.
