Species originally published in Japanese in above reference, later illustrated and described in more detail in English and Japanese in Tanaka 1917:503, Pl. 137 (fig. 384) [ref. 6073]. •Synonym of Cyprinocirrhites polyactis (Bleeker 1874) -- (Randall 1963:443 [ref. 3599], Allen et al. 2006:1346 [ref. 29090]). Current status: Synonym of Cyprinocirrhites polyactis (Bleeker 1874). Cirrhitidae. Habitat: marine.
