Lectotype: ZIN 18048. Paralectotypes: UMMZ 145778 (1) [ex ZIN 21671], ZIN 17761 (1), 21671 (7, now 6), 56367 (1, ex ZIN 18048). Type catalog: Voskoboinikova & Orlovskaya 2020:23 [ref. 38114]. Lectotype designation by Chernova et al. 2019:300 [ref. 36842]. •Synonym of Eumicrotremus derjugini Popov 1926, but a valid subspecies ochotonensis Popov 1928 as described -- (Lindberg & Legeza 1955:420 [ref. 2785], Lindberg & Krasyukova 1987:362 [ref. 15964], Mecklenburg et al. 2016:128 [ref. 34440] see remarks). •Synonym of Eumicrotremus derjugini Popov 1926 -- (Parin et al. 2002:S107 [ref. 28300], Mecklenburg & Sheiko 2003:8 [ref. 27295], Parin et al. 2014:309 [ref. 33547]). •Valid as Eumicrotremus ochotonensis Popov 1928 -- (Chernova et al. 2019:300 [ref. 36842], Voskoboinikova & Orlovskaya 2020:23 [ref. 38114], Dyldin & Orlov 2022:207 [ref. 39115]). Current status: Valid as Eumicrotremus ochotonensis Popov 1928. Cyclopteridae: Eumicrotreminae. Distribution: Northwestern Pacific: northern and northwestern Sea of Okhotsk. Habitat: marine.
