F.] 1976:128, Fig. 162 [Monographs of the Academy of Natural Sciences of Philadelphia No. 19; ref. 4144] Tutu Bay, 5°50'45"N, 121°01'15"E, Jolo Island, Sulu Sea, depth 3-9 meters. Holotype: USNM 99392. Paratypes: USNM 205372 (1 c&s). Type catalog: Springer et al. 1991:12 [ref. 18888]. •Valid as Plagiotremus iosodon Smith-Vaniz 1976 -- (Springer 2001:3546 [ref. 26290], Patzner et al. 2009:460 [ref. 30396], Allen & Erdmann 2012:796 [ref. 31980], Allen & Erdmann 2024:873 [ref. 40796] as isodon). Current status: Valid as Plagiotremus iosodon Smith-Vaniz 1976. Blenniidae: Blenniinae. Distribution: Western Pacific: Jolo Island (Philippines) south to West Papua (Indonesia) and Papua New Guinea. Habitat: marine.
