Paratypes: SIO 53-163 (2), 65-51 (2), 57-190 (1), 65-51 (2); CAS-SU 48144 (5); USNM 205475 [ex SIO 58-493] (1). Type catalog: Springer & Orrell 1996:19 [ref. 22274]. •Valid as Starksia guadalupae Rosenblatt & Taylor 1971 -- (Nelson et al. 2004:164 [ref. 27807], Love et al. 2005:156 [ref. 37547], Patzner et al. 2009:464 [ref. 30396], Love et al. 2021:199 [ref. 39279], Page et al. 2023:155 [ref. 40505]). Current status: Valid as Starksia guadalupae Rosenblatt & Taylor 1971. Labrisomidae. Distribution: Eastern Pacific: Pacific coast of southern Baja California Sur (Mxico), and Guadalupe Island (Mexico). Habitat: marine.
