Holotype: BMNH 1968.8.30.220. Paratypes: (24 of following) BMNH 1968.8.30.221-232 (12), 1968.8.30.233-239 (7), 1968.8.39.240-251 (12). •Valid as Haplochromis laparogramma Greenwood & Gee 1969 -- (van Oijen et al. 1991:135 [ref. 20956], van Oijen & Witte 2003:477 [ref. 27422], de Zeeuw et al. 2013:14 [ref. 32385], Vranken et al. 2023:[18] [ref. 40198]). Current status: Valid as Haplochromis laparogramma Greenwood & Gee 1969. Cichlidae: Pseudocrenilabrinae. Distribution: Eastern Central Africa: Lake Victoria. Habitat: freshwater.
