Holotype: BMNH 1968.8.30.310. Paratypes: BMNH 1968.8.30.311-328 (18). •Valid as Haplochromis chlorochrous Greenwood & Gee 1969 -- (van Oijen et al. 1991:115 [ref. 20956]). Current status: Valid as Haplochromis chlorochrous Greenwood & Gee 1969. Cichlidae: Pseudocrenilabrinae. Distribution: Eastern Africa: Lake Victoria. Habitat: freshwater.
