Holotype (unique): BMNH 1885.10.15.4. Apparently appeared first as above, then in Hector 1875:249, Pl. 11 (fig. 82b) [ref. 18269]. •Synonym of Arnoglossus scapha (Forster 1801) -- (Munroe 2015:1676 [ref. 34321], Fricke et al. 2017:3 [ref. 35674]). Current status: Synonym of Arnoglossus scapha (Forster 1801). Bothidae. Habitat: marine.
