Paratypes: BMNH uncat.; NMW 8030-35 (6), 8098 (1), 22966-68 (3). Type catalog: Desoutter et al. 2001:317 [ref. 25922]. Correct spelling of genus is Baiostoma. •Valid as Catathyridium grandirivi (Chabanaud 1928) -- (Desoutter et al. 2001:317 [ref. 25922]). Current status: Valid as Catathyridium grandirivi (Chabanaud 1928). Achiridae. Distribution: Brazil. Habitat: freshwater.
