Holotype: BMNH 1965.11.6.4. •Valid as Cocotropus hongkongienesis Chan 1966 -- (Poss 1999:2358 [ref. 24796]). •Tentatively valid as Paraploactis hongkongiensis (Chan 1966) -- (Poss & Eschmeyer 1978:420 [ref. 6387]). •Valid as Paraploactis hongkongiensis (Chan 1966) -- (Poss in Randall & Lim 2000:606 [ref. 25122], Prokofiev 2012:322 [ref. 32052]). Current status: Valid as Paraploactis hongkongiensis (Chan 1966). Synanceiidae: Aploactininae. Distribution: Western North Pacific. Habitat: marine.
