Type catalog: Zhang 1996:500 [ref. 24036], Ye et al. 2015:60 [ref. 33808] Original genus is correctly Nemacheilus. •Valid as Triplophysa minuta (Li 1966) -- (Zhu 1989:132 [ref. 17744] in subgenus Hedinichthys and as a valid subgenus, Wu & Wu 1992:259 [ref. 21205], Zhu 1995:120 [ref. 25213], Zhang et al. 2016:141 [ref. 34477]). •Valid as Hedinichthys minutus (Li 1966) -- (Kottelat 2012:82 [ref. 32367], Ye et al. 2015:60 [ref. 33808], Chen et al. 2023:10 [ref. 40668]). Current status: Valid as Hedinichthys minuta (Li 1966). Nemacheilidae. Distribution: East Asia: Sinkiang (China). Introduced in northern China. Habitat: freshwater.
