R.] 1966:107, Figs. 1-3 [Studies in Tropical Oceanography (Miami) No. 4 (pt 1); ref. 9028] Beach at the west side of the west jetty at the entrance to the harbor of Lagos, Nigeria. Holotype: ANSP 103409. Paratypes: ANSP 103410 (4), 103411 (2, c&s); BMNH 1966.2.15.1 (1); USNM 199728 (14, now 12). Type catalog: Fricke 1982:73 [ref. 5432], Böhlke 1984:33 [ref. 13621]. •Valid as Draculo shango (Davis & Robins 1966) -- (Fricke 1982:73 [ref. 5432], Davis & Fricke 1990:922 [ref. 19375], Fricke 2002:50 [ref. 26547], Fricke in Carpenter & De Angelis 2016:2820 [ref. 34618], Fermon et al. 2022:218 [ref. 39448] possible). Current status: Valid as Draculo shango (Davis & Robins 1966). Callionymidae. Distribution: Eastern Atlantic: Nigeria to Cameroon. Habitat: marine.
