Current status: Valid as Tigrigobius saucrus (Robins 1960). Gobiidae: Gobiinae. Distribution: Western Atlantic: Bahamas and southern Florida (U.S.A.) south to Trinidad and Tobago, including southern Gulf of Mexico and Caribbean Sea. IUCN (2015): Least Concern. Habitat: marine.
