S.] 1959:268, Figs. 1-2 [Videnskabelige Meddelelser fra Dansk Naturhistorisk Forening, Kjøbenhavn v. 121; ref. 843] Small stream, 58 miles north of Kumba, Cameroon. Holotype: ZMUC P353861 [ex W. Afr. Exped. 412]. Paratypes: BMNH 1962.5.3.4-5 (2), UI (2), West Afr. Exp. 413 (10), ZMB 21532 (2), ZMUC P353862 (1, allotype), ZMUC P353863-69. Type catalog: Nielsen 1974:56 [ref. 9588], Paepke & Seegers 1986:153 [ref. 19981]. •Synonym of Procatopus similis Ahl 1927 -- (Wildekamp et al. 1986:195 [ref. 6198], Lazara 2001:260 [ref. 25711]). Current status: Synonym of Procatopus similis Ahl 1927. Procatopodidae: Procatopodinae. Habitat: freshwater.
