Possibly a synonym of C bergi -- see Mecklenburg & Sheiko 2003:4 [ref. 27295]. •Valid as Cyclopteropsis inarmatus Mednikov & Prokhorov 1956 -- (Sheiko & Fedorov 2000:31 [ref. 25650], Mecklenburg et al. 2002:560 [ref. 25968], Mecklenburg & Sheiko 2003:4 [ref. 27295]). •Questionably a synonym of Cyclopteropsis bergi Popov 1929 -- (Parin et al. 2002:S105 [ref. 28300], Parin et al. 2014:306 [ref. 33547]). •Valid as Eumicrotremus inarmatus (Mednikov & Prokhorov 1956) -- (Oku et al. 2017:55 [ref. 35060]). Current status: Valid as Eumicrotremus inarmatus (Mednikov & Prokhorov 1956). Cyclopteridae: Eumicrotreminae. Distribution: Western North Pacific: western Bering Sea from Cape Navarin to Karaginskiy Bay; northwestern Okhotsk Sea off Kamchatka. Habitat: marine.
