Holotype: USNM 57820 (poor condition). Paratypes: CAS-SU 20012 (1), USNM 61162 (2, poor condition). Distribution: Northern and eastern Pacific: northeastern Alaska (U.S.A.) south to Pacific coast of central Baja California (Mdexico), including Guadalupe Island (Mexico). Habitat: marine.
