Syntypes: (4) BMNH 1867.11.28.210 (1) Jakarta, RMNH 7441 (largest of 2). Bleeker specimens: NMV A915 (1). Original as uarnacoïdes. Current status: Valid as Pateobatis uarnacoides (Bleeker 1852). Dasyatidae: Urogymninae. Distribution: Eastern Indian Ocean, western Pacific: Java (Indonesia) to Vietnam. Habitat: marine.
