Type catalog: Böhlke 1984:44 [ref. 13621]. •Synonym of Bryconamericus hypopterus Fowler 1943 -- (Román-Valencia 2003:40 [ref. 26840], see DoNascimiento et al. 2017:[12] [ref. 35679]). •Valid as Knodus caquetae Fowler 1945 -- (Silva in Reis et al. 2003:143 [ref. 27061], Thomaz et al. 2015:App. 5 [ref. 33893]). •Synonym of Bryconacidnus hypopterus (Fowler 1943).
