kapuasensis, Noemacheilus Kottelat [M.] 1984:244, Figs. 3b, 11, 16, 17 [Japanese Journal of Ichthyology v. 31 (no. 3); ref. 5292] Kapuas, rocky channel in main stream of Sungai Pinoh, Nangu Saian, 45 kilometers south of Nangapinoh, Borneo, 0°43'S, 111°38'E. Holotype: MZB 4004. Paratypes: CAS 47378 (20); CMK 3188 (2, c&s); FMNH 68180-82 (65, 1, 273), 68184 (35); MZB 4005 (6); SMF 17014 (31). Genus is correctly Nemacheilus. •Valid as Nemacheilus kapuasensis Kottelat 1984 -- (Roberts 1989:107 [ref. 6439], Kottelat et al. 1993:55 [ref. 23448], Kottelat & Lim 1995:236 [ref. 23210], Doi 1997:16 [ref. 22832], Hadiaty & Siebert 2001:186 [ref. 25685], Kottelat & Widjanarti 2005:156 [ref. 28284], Parenti & Lim 2005:188 [ref. 28285], Tan & Kottelat 2009:52 [ref. 30261] as cf. kapuasensis, Hadiaty & Kottelat 2010:45 [ref. 30914], Bohlen & Šlechtová 2011:204 [ref. 31485], Kottelat 2012:91 [ref. 32367], Kottelat 2013:201 [ref. 32989]). Current status: Valid as Nemacheilus kapuasensis Kottelat 1984. Nemacheilidae. Distribution: Borneo, Indonesia. Habitat: freshwater.
