Current status: Valid as Hemigrammus copei (Steindachner 1882). Acestrorhamphidae: Pristellinae. Distribution: South America: Amazon and Orinoco River basins (Brazil, Colombia, Guyana, Peru and Venezuela). Habitat: freshwater.
