Lectotype: BMNH 1893.3.6.193. Paralectotypes: BMNH 1893.3.6.203 (1) Poeh, 1893.3.6.194-201 (8) Senah R., 1892.9.2.62-69 (8) Tagora R. Original genus is correctly Crossocheilus. Current status: Valid as Paracrossochilus vittatus (Boulenger 1894). Cyprinidae: Labeoninae. Distribution: Borneo. Habitat: freshwater.
