Type catalog: Böhlke 1984:148 [ref. 13621]. •Placed in genus Steindachnerina -- (Vari & Castro 1988 [ref. 12872]). •Synonym of Steindachnerina dobula (Günther 1868) -- (Vari 1991:66 [ref. 19019] but type locality probably in error, Vari in Reis et al. 2003:60 [ref. 27061]). Current status: Synonym of Steindachnerina dobula (Günther 1868). Curimatidae. Habitat: freshwater.
