Mathematisch-Naturwissenschaftliche Classe v. 30 (no. 13); ref. 13404] Río Guaporé, Bolivia. Lectotype: NMW 68805.1. Paralectotypes: NMW 16363 (1), 68805.2 (1), 79430-32 (1, 1, 1, all dry). Appeared in more detail in Kner 1859:139, Fig. 1 [ref. 2631]. Lectotype selected by Vari 1989:29 [ref. 13506]. Current status: Valid as Curimata vittata (Kner 1858). Curimatidae. Distribution: South America: Amazon, upper Orinoco and Essequibo River basins (Bolivia, Brazil, Ecuador, Colombia, Guyana, Peru and Venezuela). Habitat: freshwater.
