Type catalog: Henn 1928:54 [ref. 12305], Ibarra & Stewart 1987:30 [ref. 12367]. •Valid as Curimata patiae (Eigenmann 1914) -- (Ortega & Vari 1986:11 [ref. 9708]). •Valid as Pseudocurimata patiae (Eigenmann 1914) -- (Vari 1989:11 [ref. 13475], Vari in Reis et al. 2003:59 [ref. 27061], DoNascimiento et al. 2017:43 [ref. 35633]). Current status: Valid as Pseudocurimata patiae (Eigenmann 1914). Curimatidae. Distribution: Patia River basin, Colombia. Habitat: freshwater.
