Holotype: whereabouts unknown. Additional specimens: (14) [whereabouts unknown]. •Synonym of Microphysogobio tafangensis (Wang 1935), but a valid subspecies -- (Bănărescu & Nalbant 1966:207 [ref. 20622]). •Valid as Microphysogobio longidorsalis Mori 1935 -- (Bănărescu 1992:326 [ref. 40251], Kim 1997:246 [ref. 24032], Chae & Yang 1999:20 [ref. 24129], Kim & Yang 1999:2 [ref. 25425], Kim & Park 2002:154 [ref. 25913], Choi et al. 2003:157, 510 [ref. 26218], Jang et al. 2003:119 [ref. 27681], Ying et al. 2011:66 [ref. 31333], Sun et al. 2022:360 [ref. 39161]). Current status: Valid as Microphysogobio longidorsalis Mori 1935. Gobionidae. Distribution: Eastern Asia: Korea. Habitat: freshwater.
