Possible syntypes and/or Day specimens: AMS B.7865 (1). •Valid as Amblypharyngodon atkinsonii (Blyth 1860) -- (Talwar & Jhingran 1991:335 [ref. 20764], Doi 1997:3 [ref. 22832] as atkinsoni, Kottelat 2013:73 [ref. 32989]). Current status: Valid as Amblypharyngodon atkinsonii (Blyth 1860). Danionidae: Rasborinae. Distribution: India and Myanmar. Habitat: freshwater.
