Lectotype selected by Gilbert 1998:96 [ref. 23395]. •Synonym of Notropis lutrensis (Baird & Girard 1853) -- (Gilbert 1978:51 [ref. 7042]). •Synonym of Cyprinella lutrensis (Baird & Girard 1853) -- (Mayden 1989:50 [ref. 12555]). •Synonym of Cyprinella lutrensis (Baird & Girard 1853), subspecies lutrensis (Gilbert 1998:97 [ref. 23395]). Current status: Synonym of Cyprinella lutrensis (Baird & Girard 1853). Leuciscidae: Pogonichthyinae. Habitat: freshwater.
