Neotype selected by Silva et al. 2010:46 [ref. 30779] and is the same neotype for Leuciscus flavus, Leuciscu caveri and Leuciscus xanthogramme; they also established relative precedence as first revisers. •Synonym of Rasbora rasbora (Hamilton 1822) -- (Brittan 1954:42 [ref. 646] with question, Menon 1999:53 [ref. 24904] as xanthogrammae). •Synonym of Rasbora dandia (Valenciennes 1844) -- (Silva et al. 2010:30 [ref. 30779]).
