Also appeared as Phoxinus poljakowii in Kessler 1879:235 [ref. 14266]. •Synonym of Phoxinus phoxinus (Linnaeus 1758), but a valid subspecies as described -- (Mitrofanov et al. 1987:138 [ref. 37731]). •Valid as Phoxinus poljakowii Kessler 1879 -- (Berg 1949:585 [ref. 20661]). •Valid, tentatively in genus Lagowskiella -- (Howes 1985:63 [ref. 5274]).
