Current status: Valid as Xenentodon canciloides (Bleeker 1854). Belonidae. Distribution: Southeast Asia: Sundaland, Malaya (Malaysia), Sumatra (Indonesia) and western Borneo. Introduced in upper Red River basin, Yunnan (China). Habitat: freshwater.
