Species later spelled kallopterus by Bleeker. Current status: Valid as Epalzeorhynchos kalopterum (Bleeker 1850). Cyprinidae: Labeoninae. Distribution: Southeast Asia: southern Thailand, Malaya (Malaysia), Sumatra and western Kalimantan (Indonesia). IUCN (2019): Least Concern. Habitat: freshwater.
