Current status: Valid as Hemirhamphodon pogonognathus (Bleeker 1853). Zenarchopteridae. Distribution: Southeast Asia: Malaya (Malaysia), Sumatra, Java, Biliton and Banka Islands (Indonesia), Borneo. Habitat: freshwater, brackish.
