hohenackeri, Capoeta Kessler [K. F.] 1877:89 [The Aralo-Caspian Expedition; ref. 2597] Probably Kura-Araks river system, Azerbaijan. Holotype (unique): ZIN 2864. •Synonym of Capoeta capoeta (Güldenstädt 1773) -- (Coad 1995:14 [ref. 23608], Jouladeh-Roudbar et al. 2020:41 [ref. 37983], Çiçek et al. 2024:157 [ref. 40789]). Current status: Synonym of Capoeta capoeta (Güldenstädt 1773). Cyprinidae: Barbinae. Habitat: freshwater.
