Current status: Valid as Lycenchelys camchatica (Gilbert & Burke 1912). Zoarcidae: Lycodinae. Distribution: North Pacific: Sea of Okhotsk north to Commander Islands (Russia) and Bering Sea, then Alaska (U.S.A.) south to Pacific coast of northern Baja California (Mexico). Habitat: marine.
