Lectotype: CAS-SU 81. Paralectotypes: BMNH 1900.9.29.239 (1), CAS-SU 69104 [ex CAS-SU 81] (5). Original genus should have been Bollmannia. •Valid as Bollmannia macropoma Gilbert 1892 -- (Allen & Robertson 1994:259 [ref. 22193], De La Cruz Agüero et al. 1997:162 [ref. 24545], Nelson et al. 2004:169 [ref. 27807], Van Tassell 2011:167 [ref. 31732], Page et al. 2013:175 [ref. 32708]). Current status: Valid as Bollmannia macropoma Gilbert 1892. Gobiidae: Gobiinae. Distribution: Eastern Pacific: Mexico to Costa Rica. Habitat: marine.
