Current status: Valid as Trachydoras microstomus (Eigenmann 1912). Doradidae: Doradinae. Distribution: South America: Amazon, Orinoco and Essequibo River basins (Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Guyana, Peru and Venezuela). Habitat: freshwater.
