Appeared first as name only in Eigenmann 1910:394 [ref. 1224]. •Valid as Anduzedoras microstomus (Eigenmann 1912) -- (Burgess 1989:223 [ref. 12860]). •Valid as Trachydoras microstomus (Eigenmann 1912) -- (Sabaj & Ferraris in Reis et al. 2003:466 [ref. 27061], Ferraris 2007:179 [ref. 29155], Birindelli 2014:538 [ref. 33501], Sarmiento et al. 2014:191 [ref. 35004], Sabaj & Arce H. 2017:18 [ref. 35518], DoNascimiento et al. 2017:89 [ref. 35633]). Current status: Valid as Trachydoras microstomus (Eigenmann 1912). Doradidae: Doradinae. Distribution: Amazon, Orinoco and Essequibo River basins: Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Guyana, Peru and Venezuela. Habitat: freshwater.
