Distribution: Southeastern Atlantic: Angola south to Cape of Good Hope (South Africa), including São Tomé and Principe; southwestern Indian Ocean: Cape of Good Hope north to KwaZulu-Natal (South Africa). Habitat: freshwater, brackish, marine.
