Syntypes: CAS 78952 [ex IU 15144] (15, now 12). •Valid as Atherinella venezuelae (Eigenmann 1920) -- (Chernoff 1986:241 [ref. 5847]). Current status: Valid as Atherinella venezuelae (Eigenmann 1920). Atherinopsidae: Menidiinae. Distribution: Tapa River basin, Venezuela and Trinidad and Tobago. Habitat: freshwater, brackish. |
