Syntypes: MHNG 148.04 (1); MNHN 0000-2955 (1) Java, A-5470 (3, dry) Réunion, 0000-9164 (4) Puducherry, 0000-9352 (1) Java. Type catalog: Bauchot & Desoutter 1987:70 [ref. 12478], Weber 1998:12 [ref. 32707]. Based on previous literature and specimens; perhaps can be regarded as a replacement name with the same types as Centropomis ambassis.
