revulina, Diacope Swainson [W.] 1839:210 [The natural history and classification v. 2; ref. 4303] An incorrect subsequent spelling of Diacope rivulata Cuvier 1828. Under Diacope, Swainson referred to "revulina. Cuv. pl. 38." •In the synonymy of Lutjanus rivulatus (Cuvier 1828) -- (Allen & Talbot 1985:65 [ref. 6491], Allen 1985:112 [ref. 6843]). Misspelling. Current status: Synonym of Lutjanus rivulatus (Cuvier 1828). Lutjanidae: Lutjaninae.
